I love that this is a woman-run course, and that there is so much information being presented. When I mentioned toward the end of the course to my husband that this was a 70-hour course, he laughed and said, “And what are you on – hour 200?” And he was right – I imagine this is way more comprehensive than the usual PDC.
Because this course is comprehensive and online, students should come in aware that they need to schedule a LOT of time, because you’re going to want to follow the additional video and reading links down all kinds of rabbit holes along the way. And that’s just the start. There’s so much to explore about permaculture.
I think it pulled together a lot of disparate information I had learned over the years into a whole. It made me dig down and plan in a very concrete way, when I usually wing it. It also made me more digitally savvy, although I was kicking and screaming the whole way.
